sorry!

sorry for not posting in a very long while... we had a good July.. a very busy July.. we had PREMIEre care for the quads... everyone did well.. in fact evan and austin have graduated from the class and seth and bekah go back in march for their last visit.. bekah and seth did awesome at their visit. i was told the main reason they are going back is because of their birth weight.. so im pretty excited... we also went to El Paso at the end of the month.. it was a good trip ... the kiddos did great... very minimal fussing.. and thankfully NO GETTING SICK!!!! we rode with my parents, so it was a nice trip.. a FAST trip.. but nice.. it was great to see all my relatives and for them to see the kiddos again.. we did miss Bobby though.. he had to stay home due to work...

and now we are just preparing... we have a Reunion party with the PREMIEre care unit in October so we are getting our costumes ready for that.. last year we went as the Wizard of OZ... this year is going to be a surprise...

also getting ready for their birthday/family pics we take at the end of December or early January... and yes i know that is quite a few months ahead from now.. but i like to be prepared and look over the outfits in advance.. and thankfully because of this past weekends tax free... i was able to get our shirts without paying the tax.. so yay!

the quads are all doing really well... their vocabulary is really taking off... they are starting to say sentences, which is awesome to hear what they are thinking.. i also am going to start going to a bible study that my church is having and for this first semester the kiddos will be in the nursery, but come January once they turn 3 they get to be in the kids version of the bible study which is exciting... they will be able to get more interaction with other kids their age ... im very excited!

ohh other exciting news.. welll at least to me... we are going to be painting their rooms.. well i should say bobby is painting... he might let me help paint, but well see.. i am really excited about that... my dad also built rebekah this very cute book shelf in the shape of a dollhouse... so CUTE!! its not finished yet, but once it is i will post a pic along with the "new" rooms..

busy, Busy, BUSY!!!!

we have had a couple of very busy weeks... bobby and i went to the coast a few weeks ago for our anniversary... then we went to his family reunion in Aspermont with the quads... and we also had 4th of July and last week we had Evan and Austins Premiere Care visit... Bekah and Seth go at the end of this month... and i will be going to El Paso with the quads with my parents at the end of the month.. bobby isnt able to come...

okay so bobby and i went to the coast for our anniversary... we were able to get away for quite a few days... it was nice... although i missed the babies and called them everyday that we were gone... it was nice to get away though just with bobby...

Aspermont... bobbys dads extended family have a reunion every june so bobby wanted to go this year and so we went with the quads... its a five hour drive and wow it was an experience... i guess it was preparing me for the trip im taking with them to el paso which is a longer trip...

Premiere Care.. Evan and Austin went on the 8th... Evan did really well he chattered the WHOLE time... he was marked with a mild delay for his gross motor... but he is generally our more "careful" guy.. he takes his time... so im not worried... Austin was not at all a chatterbox.. but he did do good as well... he did very well with his gross motor... I wasnt worried about them before the appointment and im not worried about them now... Bekah and Seth go on the 29th for the evaluation... im not at all worried about them either... im not exactly sure how they will cooperate with the testing, but seeing how they are at home im not concerned at all.. im just so grateful to the Lord with how well they are doing... they are miracles!

well i will post some pics later on just thought i would do a quick update... i have some cute 4th of July pics... i dont have any from either trip (forgot my camera)... but will post some 4ths later on!

sorry... we have had a few quite BUSY weeks this month... i will post more later on thsi week and also do another history post too... sorry about that... anyway.. i WILL post some details as tpo why this has been a BUSY month later on this week...

Anniversary...

Today marks 3 years since our successful IUI... so that means the quads are 2 1/2... WOW.. time flies.. i cannot believe it... on the way home from the gym tonight i was thinking how it is June 5.. this date seems so important to me.. even more today because bobby and i are trying to get pregnant again... we arent going through any type of treatment.. my doctors all seem to think that i should be able to get pregnant again rather easily... well bobby and i have been trying for four months now, and from month one i have been scared that it wont be as easily as my doctors seem to think... i COVET your prayers that i wait PATIENTLY on Gods timing and not my own... i do so desperately desire to have another baby girl... or even twin girls... and i know some of you think im crazy for even wanting one more child, but i do...

anyway i cannot believe its been three years since the IUI... i know so many people prayed for me then and i am so grateful for that...

i will try to update with a history tomorrow.. bobby is on-call and we arent able to go out and about... so will try to do that....

this past saturday was the March of Dimes walk... our team the PREMIEre Program Families had the quads picture from the annual reunion party from October... my family came out for the walk...

at one point during the walk.. there was a polka band... they were playing the chicken dance... they had my sister dancing to the music, but i wasnt fast enough with the camera...

as we are walking to the car.. i asked bobby.. "are you tired?" his reply.. "no not really, yea a little.."...

we went to breakfast after... ate a nice meal at cracker barrel... then went home... from what i heard we all pretty much went to sleep once we got home... us, my mom and dad, my sister, and my brother and his family.. bobby and i and the kids slept for at least 3 hours... yikes... usually naps make me wide awake at bedtime, but on this day i still fell asleep quite easily..

we had a fun time at the walk... and i am so grateful to all those that were able to come and walk...
