something i shouldnt have forgotten...

well in my last post... yes the long one... i forgot to add something else that had happened.... after the quads birthday they started sunday school the next sunday... i havent taken a picture of them yet, just because we have been late every sunday since they have started... so when we are able to get to church before it actually starts so that i can take a picture with them, i will... just thought id let you know, i cant believe i forgot to add this in my last post...

also got a call from our therapist... we are changing speech therapist and we have them scheduled to come out in february to evaluate them again... well on the phone yesterday she said shes not sure that they are going to have enough of a delay to continue therapy... which i guess is what i really want, but having them come and helping me get them ready before premiere care has always calmed my nerves... so in a way im ready to stop therapy and in a way im not.... but we'll see... ill let you know how that appointment goes...

speaking of speech... they really are starting to mimic us on a lot of words.. so thats exciting... they also are starting to say each others names which is really cute... i think the cutest though is what they call seth.. to them his name is sepie... i used to call him sethie alot, but i really dont do that anymore, but i guess it really stuck with them.. so now he is sepie to the other babies...

we are still working on the potty training... getting them used to the potty... nowhere near trained yet, but getting them comfortable with it...

i will post their birthday pics and the professional pics probably next week... i have to get some more prints printed and a friend of mine offered to get them done while she takes her son to get his pics done, way better than waiting a year like i did this last time... anyway i will post some pics next week...

well thats pretty much it... we dont have ANYTHING going on this week... a very slow and peaceful week...

busy past couple of weeks....

Well im sorry for the late post... we have had a couple busy weeks these past few weeks... I was going to wait to post till i had pictures to post with it, but im still waiing on the pics (hint hint Jennifer)... anyway... i will post pics once i get them.... anyway this month pretty much started with the quads birthday.... we celebrated their birthday on the 3rd this month and and it was a nice little shindig.... most of my family and most of bobbys family was there and a friend of mine from church and her family and my pastor and his wife were there.... it was a nice little shindig... we had a pinata... balloons... and CAKE.... it was a lot of fun.... my wonderful sister in law made their video again this year and turned out wonderful.... very Cute.... we opened presents and now that they are a year older were more involved with unwrapping gifts... so that was fun.... took lots of pictures, but not with my camera... my sister thankfully brought her camera and i was able to use hers... so again once i get the pictures.. ill share with you...

next thing was since they turned two it was time for Premiere Care again.... so the first wednesday of the month we took austin and evan in for their check-ups.... evan did awesome... he cooperated... he talked... he did GREAT... he even tested on some things above his actual age.... austin... welll... he has inherited mine and bobbys shy genes and deceided that he was having none of it... he did good, just not as good as he does for me at home... bobby was with austin and i was with evan when they were testing.... i thought that evan might not do as well since he was in the hospital the day after Christmas.. but he warmed up after he saw that we were going to play and that he wasnt going to be pricked with a needle....

then the following monday we had our two year appointment with our family doctor for their regular check-ups.... oh dear... they all cried.. especially bekah.... and they didnt even get any shots... it was cute though... seth never left the door... he stood by the door till it was time to leave... very funny.... like i said bekah cried the whole time...... THE WHOLE TIME... even when she wasnt the one being checked.... but after the appointment my doctor told me that they ALL are healthy NORMAL!!!!! babies... hallelujah!!!!! premiere care didnt seem so scary even if bekah didnt perform well....

well that wednesday we took bekah and seth to premiere care... seth did great... he performed, he talked, he did great.... he too tested on some things above his actual age... bekah... ahh bekah... well i warned them that we had just gone the doctors office and that she might not do very well... well they also had a professional photographer their to take pictures of them for their brochure that they are going to send out... well i guess that made bekah shy also she did some things and some things she would have none of it... their was one test that bekah would sigh when she saw the tester bring it out... then it was time to test her speech cause up until now she has not said a word... well tester starts to ask what things are and shes not saying a word... she asks her where her nose.. eyes... ears... etc.. are??? not a word... so the tester starts to mark on her score card what she is and isnt doing... so i start to ask her what things are... whats this??? "spoon" she says.. this??? ball... this??? baby doll.. this??? dog.... yea shes talking... okay whats this??? nose... this??? eyes.... this??? hair... YEA!!!!! the whole time the tester is watching me and telling me what to ask her.... YEA!!!! bekah... so afterwards when we were talking to dr ramamurthy she tells us that she is very pleased with how they are developing and that she is not worried about them at all.... we do go back in july and then again in january when they turn 3.... and that will be last of premiere care... one thing though which is pretty cool my bekah and seth are going to be in their brochure... i thought that was pretty cool....

okay so the next hing on our list of busy weeks was we had their two year pictures taken on saturday... they turned out really good... my main concern was the individual pictures.. which they all smiled for... the group and family pictures they didnt smile for but i still think they are cute.... although i have to go back and get some more printed because i didnt get two pictures in the size i needed i need to write it down for next year.... i had the pictures cut and framed that same day... they are so cute...

and then today... today we have our monthly physical therpay coming out today.... its not really a hectic thing... she really works around our schedule and is very laid back... she really calms my nerves more than anything else... so looking forward to seeing her today... although after the good reports from the family doctor and premiere care... im not really anxious about anything with them, so this might be a VERY easy going appointment... speaking of which i better start cleaning the house and making it presentable for when she does come...

FRIENDS!!

My best friend from high school was able to come down and visit her family for a few days and she was able to come over and see my brood and I... I am so grateful that she did... I also got to see her sister and her mom, not to mention her daughter and her sisters son!! So cute.. I had an awesome time and I look forward to the next time that we are able to see each other and hang out again!!!

And here are the three amigos! We spent many a weekends together hanging out while we were in high school... awww the good old days!!

quick post...

Okay so anyone who is one of my facebook friends already know this, and i do apologize if this grosses anybody out, but im a proud mommy.... evan and seth both went peepee in their potty chairs...

it started last night, when bobby went to our bathroom, the babies got upset because he closed the door on them so i asked them if they wanted to go sit on their potty chairs... well that got them excited because we have just introduced the potty chairs to them and we give them m&m's to get them excited about it... so they are sitting their on their potty chairs for i guess 10-15 minutes doing wonderfully, eating m&m's, and just giggling.... when im done putting diapers and clothes back on.. i went to go look in the pottys to see if anyone had indeed gone potty and lo and behold... my baby boy SETH had indeed gone potty... i was so excited and he got excited and i think you can tell in his picture he was very proud of himself...

then today... after we had just changed a stinky diaper on seth, austin was saying poopoo... he hadnt gone, so we asked him if he wanted to sit on his potty chair, and when the others heard that they deceided they also needed to sit on their potty chairs (of course to get an M&M)... anyway we again sat for probably 10-15 minutes.. and when we were changing diapers, i saw that both evan and seth had gone potty... so yea for them... i guess i know what this means... oh yea...


okay so this is evan today after he went potty... YEA EVAN!!!


and here is seth last night, his first time going potty in his chair... YEA SETH!!!
